Gregg Rippy is president and owner of Grand River Construction Company in Glenwood Springs. He is a graduate of Colorado State University, and a lifetime resident of the Western Slope. Mr. Rippy has a long history of public service at the state and local levels, including two terms in the Colorado House of Representatives. He also served as the Executive Director of the Statewide Internet Portal Authority (SIPA), and later on the SIPA Board of Directors. He has served on many advisory boards, including the El Pomar Foundation, Western State University, and the City of Glenwood Springs Airport Board.
Mr. Rippy is past-president of the Colorado Contractor’s Association, (CCA), and was named one of Colorado’s Construction Pioneers. He is a charter member of the Glenwood Springs Sunset Rotary Club and a Mason. He has been a licensed pilot for over 50 years.
Mr. Rippy has served as President of the District Board of Directors since its inception in 2011.
