ANDREW (DREW) GORGEY
Andrew (Drew) Gorgey has served as the district’s general counsel since its inception in 2011.
Drew has worked in Colorado local government for 18 of the last 20 years. From 2011-16, he served as Garfield County Attorney, Garfield County Manager, and City Manager (interim) for the City of Glenwood Springs. Drew is past president of the Association of Colorado County Administrators.
The El Paso County Bar Association in Colorado Springs named Drew Outstanding Young Lawyer in 1999 and elected him one of the association’s youngest presidents in 2003-04.
Drew has lectured on leadership at the American Bar Association’s prestigious Bar Leadership Institute in Chicago, the Colorado Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Training course (COBALT), and the Special District Association of Colorado, among others.
